It looked like a low effort attempt. I expected him to grab him first or drop Bonney and go for Luffy, she isn't as important and she clearly can't kill him no matter how much she stabs him.

It's shown that he's conscious, and he even cries out in pain after Franky hits him

Luffy is in practically the exact same state as Kizaru, conscious but unable to move, the difference being that Luffy's state is self-inflicted and Kizaru's is caused by Luffy

Why introduce the massive drawback on the fruit. LOL

Oda doesn't know whether to speed up fights or slow down the plot.

I still think it’s CoC ,the ability to overwhelm others .
Why are low ranked Marines not able to survive this ,and people like Sanji get hurt but are still alive after.
See the black lightning a couple panels before he removed Bonneys sword.

Luffy is down so the only one left this could come from is Saturn .

Obviously. Who else could it be? I mean up until Wano I was on the side that Blackbeard was going to be the final villain but after these recent events, you really need a lot of coping to justify that.

Or maybe VegaPunk used an actual human body and reprogrammed their brains. York is very tall, could pass as a Buccaneer just like Kuma.

What prompted VP to create big girls and make Lilith normal sized? If he uses actual humans it makes more sense.

It could be that Bonney's mom was converted into York. Her past memory of the CDs and envying their riches combined with her own greed turned her into York.
