Depends what you like and why you wanna watch it.
Ado and Shanks really hard carry it, its got a sweet, tragic story to it and fantastic music and animation, theres some awesome shit involving the RHP, but half of it is "non canon"/made up for the film as Toei admitted directly and theres a LOT of baiting and fanservice but it does reveal some important, canonical stuff too, well stuff with massive ramifications at least.
Its a very musical film but its charming, entertaining, endearing and honestly Utas use of her DF is AMAZING imo. Its very deja vu heavy with the Infinite Tsukiyomi too though.
I'm trying to avoid spoiling too much but it gets very experimental and whats going on in the manga atm can be "foreshadowed" by it it too in some ways maybe.
Its also absolutely awful for Marine agendas lmao, especially Admirals but amazing for Shanks/Yonko agendas as expected!
Without spoiling it, theres a wonderful scene with Usopp and Yasopp but don't expect what you would expect to happen, thats all I'll say!
This films works to give Luffy and Shanks some more backstory and character development, theres some big reveals like with Stampede but you have to take a lot of liberties with it too.
Bartolomeo was really funny and endearing in this too imo.
I get the feeling you might not enjoy it tbh but I could be wrong ofc? Just be cautious of it and have low expectations I guess lol. The less seriously you take it, the better it is, its a very wild, whimsical, energetic type film. Very loud, creative, colourful, intense, energetic etc.

Like you said, i don't have a big interest in the musical aspects of the movie and it seemed like the main draw of the project
While i really enjoy music, i didn't really enjoy the few songs i heard from the artist
Watching the Admiral Agenda get hurt is always good lmao
I'm gonna keep it on my list, for when i have a depressed down time and need something to pass the time
