Character Discussion Are people too critical when it comes to Sanji?

That’s a great quote the seraphim are hakiless kids.
People aren’t to critical considering his fans want him to be compared to Luffy and Zoro. He has to be subject to the same scrutiny. We Luffy got hit by Appo he was bashed. The difference is Sanji never does anything to redeem himself.
If Sanji fans want to cry about him being criticized they should stop saying he’s Zoro level, stop saying he’s YC1 level, stop saying he will be Yonko level EOS, stop being delusional.

When chars are being seen as a duo / form a pair in action-shounen context, they either don't have a drastic difference in strength (, or the difference is too big so it would create a contradiction.
Itachi Kisame and Kakashi Guy, for example. We know how strong Itachi/Kakashi is, and much much later Kisame and Guy are shown to be a real capable person.
If in One Piece Zoro is always, or only, have a Duo with Luffy, then his powerlevel formula will be x% of Luffy.
But Zoro has pairing with both Luffy and Sanji, so his formula will consider both, not just Luffy's like above.
Well, there's always toxic people in every sides. Happens all the time everywhere.
I'm just pointing out that they are more delusional than anything.
If you remember Punk Hazard and Dressrosa days, they're busy crafting scenarios as to why Sanji doesn't actually "lose" against Vergo & Doffy.
Random, targeted, newer example is the Sanji fandom in a youtuber's circle (SuperiorIQ). If you've seen the videos and comments, you would see Sanji fans comes up 1001 ways and defenses as to why he can win.

Sanji had plently of opportunities to shine (even more than Zoro, but he was used for stupid gags, to hype other players or for random usless plot that at the end were miningless)
What Oda did with Sanji is just so bad (even the voice actor comment on that, Sanji is know for his bleeding nose and not for his pretimeskip cool moments......)
