Well, its SRM. You can be killed during Day Phase. 5 people can die at night. There's high chance you won't be able to use all of your abilities anyway. If you have something harmless as investigation, just use it asap.

A tree stump (dead player who can talk) has every bit of interest in their side winning that a living one does.

When you’re town and you “die” your investment in the outcome isn’t over. If Town wins in the end you still win too whether you are alive at the very end or not.

So a dead player who can talk has as much motivation to game solve as a living one
