He was ordered to destroy Ohara, he didn't have much of a choice there, can't excuse him impaling Garp though
It's funny, Saul D. Goodman had orders and left the marines.

Kuzan is bothered by genocide but not bothered enough to leave an organization willing to commit genocide whenever. It's so bad, he gives Spandem a genocide button. A man with such a big ego and even bigger insecurities.

I don’t think Koby is going from captain level below the likes of smoker and arguably under the mid trio to becoming admiral level comparable to the likes of akainu and Garp in a few weeks

Also Sanji fighting kuzan doesn’t need to some super deep meaning and foreshadowing

Koby vs Kuzan isn't manga dropping worthy tbh but I see why you might not like it
I've been excited and theorizing about Kuzan for like 5 years... if he ends up losing to Koby.....

It is to me lol:milaugh:

yeah that is really weird tbh.

it's such a "wtf why would you do that thing". I could see Kizaru giving it to Spandam.... but Kuzan?

His last feat was > Dressrosa Zoro's best feats.

And that's his first serious feat, Garp implies Koby is subconsciously holding back.

That's true, but he was good enough to spare Robin instead of just outright murdering her and destroying Luffy and the others. I'd say he's more morally grey, an anti-hero, than a full fledged villain like Sakazuki.

Kuzan has an idea of what's right but no idea how to act right.

Blackbeard legitimately recruited him with a promise of being able to do as he pleases, I can't see Kuzan being revealed as a spy or killing Garp for the sake of being undercover.

Kuzan impaled Garp with ice, was all fine with destroying Ohara and the archeologists and killing all the pirates in the Marineford War.

His aims are good but Kuzan's skewed morally and Koby is going to correct him.

I agree! I think that, Post-Raftel, Koby will lead SWORD and they'll end up joining Luffy when he takes down the marines.
He was far from being fine with it, he felt sorry for Robin and time and time again he has soft spots for pirates.

He had to be convincing enough with Garp without truly killing him. If he really has some sort of intentions, they were important enough for such drastic measures like attacking Garp and following BB. When a character shows strong resolve, the cause is very important and it won't be something Koby would be capable of changing his mind on (or want to). Koby would be the first in line to understand

Koby is being brought into the story with massive ties to Blackbeard and Kuzan via Garp. I do not think his resolve will be anything less than what's required to take Kuzan down and make him reconsider.

I don't think Kuzan is a double agent. Blackbeard's pitch is about letting Kuzan do as he pleases and that's what appeals to him.

I don't like Sanji anymore (after all the anti-feats he got and how annoying some of his fans/wankers are I kind of lost a lot of faith in him) but I feel that he'll probably beat/stalemate Kuzan after getting ACoA and maybe hotter flames.
I don't get why people think Sanji vs Kuzan is going to happen.

I feel like the 10 Straw Hats versus the 10 Blackbeard Pirates who were at Marineford is obvious. If Kuzan is an arc fight, I think he'll lose to an ally.

Sanji has a lot of possible opponents amongst the Blackbeards who are better suited to fight him than Kuzan imo. Lafitte, North Blue King Pizarro, someone associated with a beverage in Vasco, and Burgess.

I mean he isn't exactly doing as he pleases if he has to follow orders from a captain, is it? The excuse Kuzan gave BB is clearly bullshit.

Koby's #1 tie to the story is Luffy and having a soft spot for everyone good regardless of allegiance. Garp just taught him how to fight for what he thinks is right, it doesn't automatically pit him against Kuzan unless if Kuzan goes and does horrid stuff (he won't).

Zoro fans and Sanji fans in shambles

Koby might beat the guy on Blackbeard's crew that can make Blackbeard shit his pants

:parkcry:

Lets hope Oda wanks the hell out of Pizarro and Shyriu (Pizarro is looking fine for me tho, Shyriu is ok but not impressive)

If Kuzan is getting taken out, it'd be in the fight against the BB pirates, and if the next big arc is against BB pirates, then Kuzan is reserved for Law or it could be a team battle, which might involve Law, Coby or even Katakuri for that matter.

Another note to add is Koby's justice is Honest Justice. It's the saying "the truth hurts" and that Koby is clearly about to make some big moves using Sword. The next time we see him he should be officially a VA and if Drake isn't back then it's his time to shine. Koby's justice will likely lead him to fight Kuzan and show him real justice does exist in the marines leading to him taking out the Celestials with Luffy come the endgame.

Koby isn't captain level, he would no diff Tashigi. He's just that rank but he is clearly way stronger.
