This is a really good point anyway, it must tie up together somehow. Oda based the 7 warlords on some video game characters from Romancing Saga 2 I believe it was and Ill have to check if Mihawks and Kumas characters have any history there too. Mihawks and Boas characters are meant to be brother and sister AND Crocodile's was a woman previously or and currently an effiminate man at least LMAO!

It really is dude. One of my best friends (you know him on the Discord) absolutely LOVES it and its getting a live action series soon which looks promising suprisingly. YYH is a father of a lot of modern anime, like Ranma 1/2 and DBZ were for example and YYH and Ranma are still some of the best series I've ever seen. YYH is such a vibe with really well written villains, great main cast and thus atypical, more nuanced protagaonist with interesting circumstances. Its quite different and very good. Botan best girl too. It also largely inspired Bleach especially AFAIK but proably the likes of JJK and maybe something like CSM too or idk.

I strongly recommend it anyway, the anime was such a vibe with a bop of an OP and such too. I watched it dubbed, not sure if subbed is better as usual but I liked the dub back then at least. Idk how good the anime is compared to the manga too, if it cuts out too much too especially by the final arcs?
