I don't think Berserk is best manga, it's kind of crap. It set a dark tone and it failed to follow up to resolve the conflict. The ending of a story is normally after conflict resolution.
Well Dragon might have taken revenge on Kuma's behalf and killed the Celestial Dragon who did him wrong, but Kuma probably being the cuck he is told Dragon violence isn't the solution.
Kuma was able to zip out of Marijoas and Akainu's hands in an instance so what's stopping Dragon from zipping in and nuking the shit out of the CDs then zipping out anyways.....
