I only remember the panel of Teach blocking the sword slash with his arm coated in armament
So BB was sent flying in manga also?
It’s a weird thing to add. Like yeah there’s movement around Teachs face after the attack but I figured he was just grimacing from trying to stop the blade.
Not weird at all the fight is not off screend and teach moves from the forest to city instantly

more proof that BB was sent flying in the manga as well:
you can see rocks flying off him in the panel after the mountain gets cut, implying that he crashed into it


the SFX (kashunk) is also commonly used to imply rocks crumbling


here's another example of a character who crashed into a building/structure and rocks were falling/crumbling around him:


same SFX (kshunk or kashunk)
