What an emotional chapter, who's cutting onions here 😭😭

Now that the flashback is done, it's hands down one the the best flashback in the story.

Seems like Kuma didn't know Luffy was Nika, but with Luffy's action was reminiscent of Nika (Liberating the people of Thriller Bark) which pushed Kuma to help Luffy and protecting the Sunny Go .

I'm glad Kuma at least got to see Bonney in Saboaby

Bonney seeing Kuma full memory and here finding out Luffy will be the savior I think it strengthen the chance of her joining the Strawhats

Kuma losing his memory bubble could me mean Oda planning for his sendoff when they return to the present time
