Could had been Usopp?

Maybe Oda is bringing back something mostly forgotten but actually cool that happened in chapter 419. There Ussop delivered the keys from far away... maybe this could have happened here and to be reveled later as the main camera focus has been around Saturn.

So, Luffy is spent and out of G5 and needed food to use it again, but somewhat he just used G5 to create food in order to recover and be able to use G5 again?

Logical

And that not even considering the fact that even in G5 he can't really create thinking outside gags.

Yep. Luffy needing food to even get back to fighting is bad enough, we can blame Oda for that…but if it was Kizaru that did it that would probably throw some users here into a coma.

Definitely not Kizaru ,
how would Kizaru know giving food to luffy recovers him.
That's probably the dumbest thing he can do.
Luffy did say he needs food , But to Kizaru it should be more like a pun or something like Zoro and Kaido demands alcohol.

Except for SH's and Caribou , I don't think so there's anyone aware of luffy recovering with food.
It's either Robin or Caribou , He was the wild card in Wano as well.
Fed luffy after his Second or third L from Kaido , He knows nobody getting out alive if luffy goes out.

To play devil's advocate, we've seen Kaido maintain his clouds in base form and Marco use his healing flames in base too

If we take the claim about Nika only being limited by his imagination very literally, then it's not impossible that Luffy may have manifested food without needing to transform lol

However, this would be broken as fuck and I still think the imagination part was referring to Luffy manipulating his rubber powers any way he likes
