I don't know, man. Akainu entered combat after the Wano arc on-screen, and after everyone received Haki adcoc, they all showcased Adcoc-Haki when engaging in a fight. Shanks, Garp. Akainu not only failed to display Adcoc-Haki against Kuma but also failed to defeat Kuma, who wasn't even trying to defend himself. After that, there's the fear of his equal, fighting against Garp and not showcasing adcoc-Haki. It's hard to imagine that Akainu engaged in a 10-day battle against Aokiji, and Aokiji, without possessing adcoc-Haki, managed to match him for 10 days. This is just too bizarre.
@Paperchampion23 do you still think this chapter sets up Luffy vs Kizaru? I don't.
