Paperchampion and Tejas can probably attest to this - it was A LOT harder to get new chapters back then; I personally had to rely on the American version of Shonen Jump (which ran monthly) for a few years until I finally found an acceptable fanslation with the grainiest quality possible…the kids today don’t know how easy they hav- *my skin starts sagging and wrinkling at a terrifyingly rapid pace* 
It may not last long, but for now, Franky is the only member of the Straw Hats who has openly and directly attacked a Yonko AND a Gorosei among many other enemies he’s fried to a crisp…I have never second guessed hitching my wagon to the guy, but his role the last few arcs has vindicated me more than ever

The senor pink fight was amazing.
Tons, chiefly that he should have included Franky (really ALL the SHP) in WCI and given him more to do during Punk Hazard…otherwise, in terms of backstory, characterization, and attacks/techniques, I’ve been into all of it since he was introduced

That being said yeah I really hope Franky gets some upgrades here, he missed a chance in Punk Hazard but I have a feeling Vegapunk will give him some upgrades, maybe multiple Radical Beams or a stronger, concentrated Radical Beam.
