Fuji already actively worked against the WG multiple times, and verbally voiced his disdain for its actions. I posted some, but there are plenty.
Fuji let the revs go two times, Sabo even said he would be in trouble if they found out back in DR.

Letting aside the meaning of all this, all this construction wouldn't have any sense if it was just to let Fuji do what a character without any of this would have done. Koby is the same: do you think he'll fight for the WG when the times come? And Smoker?

As for the Yc1/Yc2 it is in the manga. RHM/YC1 had always a special portrayal, some more and some less, but all had. Katakuri had in WC, Benn had since forever, Ray had it too, but the same could be said for King and even Marco.
Yc1 and 2 are comparable, but between Katakuri and Smoothie or between Ray and Scopper there has always been a wide chasm of portrayal (and often a hierarchical difference too).

And at the end of the day, Fuji remained a marine because he believes the marines are where he belongs. He’s not abandoning them for any reason meaning he’s going to go down with them.

And no the YC1/YC2 is literally a fan thing that has no basis in the manga. Not all “First Commanders” are equal, hell they aren’t even close for most of them. Same with second or thirds. King Marco and Queen were all established in the same tier by Zoro Marco and Big Mom. Oda then cemented it with bounty.

King Queen, Kaku Jabra, Fuji Ryo, it’s all the same. Characters who get similar portrayal and one will be slightly stronger and the second slightly weaker. It’ll happen with Shiryu and Lafitte too. Zoro won’t leave Sanji behind till he fights Mihawk.

All this just to get used as a hype tool for Cross Guild or Blackbeard Pirates.

She wouldn’t lose to Mihawk or BB. Shed lose to Croc or Moriah, Moriah after all does have a vendetta against Kaido lmao

Yamato ain’t comparable to the admirals lmao she’s a low diff for them anyways.
