The entire fight with CoC was King of Hell obviously, which is overusing Haki to a point of Zoro pointing out he will die if it drags on for too long. Also, yes, it is base Zoro, but Zoro's base due to not having many upgrades (King of Hell, Asura) is stronger than Luffy's base, while Luffy compensates by having more forms down the line, on top of having ACoC.

No, because it means different things. Zoro's attacks can go all the way from the YC4 range to the top-tier realm while Lucci's likely fall beneath Post-Enma Zoro, forget post-CoC Zoro. It's still wildly impressive that Lucci survived a brief clash with KoH regardless of how long it lasted though.

Lucci's attacks only need to be threatening enough for Zoro's durability which they are.
No doubt Zoro's high end moves are in a different realm, they literally surpass Top Tiers attacks but Shugan, Rokuougan or basic Tempest kick slashes already would hurt Zoro greatly.

The most impressive thing is that he's trading with Zoro instead of using his agility and make it an aerial battle, raining down attacks from above.

Calling someone tough means acknowledging they're strong, not that they're struggling. Zoro suggests Lucci isn't the one controlling the timing of the fight, which goes against what you're saying. The most you can say is, that Zoro isn't playing around, but also could end the fight if he wanted to, which is what he was suggesting at the end.
