When I say this, it does not necessarily means heroes are holding back. Sukuna can still kill them! All of them including Gojo (since he implied it himself).

Why Gege is using Megumi as an excuse?
For plot obviously.
But to balance things out, he should at least let Sukuna fight in a neutral body so that there is no excuse left. I dont like paradoxes.

1. That's a cool shot that every mangaka likes to spam

Yeah it’s a cool shot but it has nothing to do with sparing someone and going easy on him
