people that deny the 1cm difference between Mihawk and Shanks are delusional, its CLEARLY intentional. They have the same birthday as well. Oda doesn't mess around with this stuff.

I don't think it definitively settles who is stronger between them though. I could see Mihawk being the better combatant while Shanks is simply the greater pirate, which would explain why Shanks is the taller of the two. There is also a general pattern of Zoro surpassing the achievement of Luffy, but a few arcs later. Such as his bounty increases pre timeskip, and him defeating King in Wano after Luffy defeated Kata in WCI. So when Luffy finally surpasses Shanks, it will be before Zoro surpasses Mihawk
