I don't remember telling you to say what I can or can't do mate.

I literally created the context of this discussion. So again, I answer to anything that could be relevant on the subject, in that case: It depends if you profit of the AI based work or not.

Any kind of AI that is used to create art and text is trained on stolen work. So, profiting from work based on AI is theft.
Unless it’s free and open source then how can you claim it’s stolen .
You will literally get hit with copyright laws (especially if you are in Germany) .

everything has pros and cons but answer mis zem

both of us use A I to help us with our work but is A I the creator or us?? and are we harming anyone by using A I for our work??
I use as Google, so I don't have to read tons of information to get one piece of information. Like I had a wonderful talk with AI last night about the function of ambulances and it lectured me about wanting to find weapons in the woods :gokulaugh: It could be less judgemental.

As soon as I use it for anything other than basic google information, I have to claim my work is AI which I won't do so I won't use it for anything else. I have even been searching for someone who does original artwork for covers since even if I use an AI cover it would be marked partial AI.

I think it has a high potential for an editing tool, but it does bother me how many people make a living from being freelance editors since many people have turned to more independent work for various reasons. Such as freedom of expression and not having to answer to anyone. Also technically makes you noncancelable if you say something controversial.

Also, you all should know these birthday cake Oreos are awesome.

Depends on the extent of usage. I'm hurting everyone who wants money from me because I'm poor and I enlist friends and family. Except for the cover, I will pay someone for it, just not an obscene price from these designers I came across.

I believe if it is your creation and you aren't having something written or created for you then it's an ok tool.

I knew this would be your answer anyway lol

now you see why I told you not to answer without knowing the context
I wasn't contradicting you, I added context for others and not only you as we are not talking about the simple usage of AI here, but the specific type of AI that is trained on stolen work being OpenAi or Sora or Midjourney.

Besides the religion-based private schools around here, they stopped teaching cursive writing.
Would not teaching kids cursive writing even matter to the development of a kid's education as much as teaching a kid the ability to learn & absorb information + practicing technologically relevant skills?

Cursive writing seems to be turning into an archaic form of written communication since there's no need for such a skill in the digital age where someone can write up a sentence by typing something on a LCD screen & even plain old writing is more than sufficient enough for written communication on a piece of paper.

That being said?

It is a bit concerning that the necessitiy of physically writing down something on a piece of paper will slowly decrease (taking notes on a tablet in school via typing it instead of writing it) & the necessity for the ability to read large chunks of text will also decrease since "why read a huge book when you can watch a video of that same topic online?"

Yeah, it's becoming a huge problem with developing fine motor skills in children.
