”Marine Hunter” is the biggest meme out there, even when asked about it Oda can only explain how Mihawk is hiding from the marines
Marine had to recruit him to protect their Admiral / candidates.
Oh yeah thats true hmm....his backstory is really gonna be interesting, well ive always expected it to be for over 20 years now but I'm praying the wait, the payoff will be worth it.
As long as we get it in the manga especially. It's a start ofc.
I need to see him and Fuji meet, there's so much potential there in different ways and it might lead into their backstories somehow.
It might come up vs Zoro though, we have Zoro's father being killed by pirates and zoro is a pirate hunter ofc. Feels like Oda is drawing a parallel with Mihawk and zoro there ofc, marine hunter and pirate hunter, zoro probably became one secretly because Kozaburo probs told him what happened to his father assuming he knows or Zoro found out somehow and we know now that Mihawk became a MH because of a personal deep betrayal by the Marines somehow.
I wonder if it could also tie into Kuragaina and how Mihawk said that was destroyed by war? Felt like it was a personal topic for him the way he just brought it up to Zoro like that too.
