In all fairness, Sanji did take over as the third primary protagonist. Nami had it for the longest time but as OP moved from an adventure manga to a battle manga, Oda replaced Nami with Sanji as the big three in OP. Calling Zoro and Sanji the wings of the pirate king sealed it

It’s pretty common for deuteragonists and tritagonists to change through stories anyways

Even if you remove Nami from next arc too.
