It’s not unlikely, it’s an entirely different technique? If Madara cast Infinite Tsukuyomi with his actual eyes, maybe you’d have room to stand on. But he used a third eye that just materialized for that genjutsu lol.
He doesn’t have every MS technique? He hasn’t shown Amaterasu or Kagatsuchi, KA or Kamui.
Sasuke didn’t break it—Tobi outright says that fight was a sham and everything that happened in it was because Itachi wanted it to happen.
He needs that eye to use this genjutsu.
So far, Infinite Tsukuyomi is the strongest genjutsu, so it's understandable that Madara needs the Rinne-Sharingan + the power of a god.
Again, I think it's nonsensical to believe Madara can use such a powerful genjutsu but he is incapable of using a much weaker genjutsu like that.
Unlike Kagatsuchi, KA or Kamui, Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi weren't shown to be pure exclusive MS jutsus for a particular user. The fact that two brothers had it support my argument.
Also, Madara can literally fight blind and he would absolutely bully Itachi in submission.
Itachi held back to not like Sasuke. It doesn't mean he purposely broke Tsukuyomi out of his own will. It only means his Tsukuyomi wasn't as powerful due to holding back, so Sasuke can break through it.
All of that is irrelevant because we talk about base Madara, who 1.) has chakra stamina comparable to a Bijuu, 2.) is a highly experienced fighter who knows other MS users can put him into a genjutsu.
Only because Itachi's Tsukuyomi was weaker when he used it on Sasuke, doesn't mean his 100% Tsukuyomi version can beat Madara, lol. What's next, Tsukuyomi works on Kaguya, too?
You need to include the individual power of a shinobi. All the statements in early or middle Shippuden are not that relevant when we talk about characters reaching godly status.
Onoki's Jinton destroys things of atomic level, yet it was unable to break Madara's Perfect Susanoo. That's just one example.
Even Edo Madara owns Itachi hard.
The combined force of 5 kages would beat Itachi. Madara merely toyed with them.
