Besides that, I would like to see the reactions of Shiki, Scopper Gaban, the man marked by flames, Kuro, Don Krieg, Gaimon, Shanks, Rayleigh, Blackbeard, the other former Rocks Pirates, Holy Knight's, Kong, Smoker and Fujitora.

I think the recent Shueisha News took away people's anxiety about a long flashed out flashback already. Considering how people are all on the Elbaf -Arc train right now, that supposedly begins in October/ November, because of the released Elbaf figurines, I am not so sure anymore about a flashback. Also, with all the breaks in between. Perhaps just a teaser and more for later.

Or they were all wrong, and we have 30 chapter flashback ahead of us. Not leaving egghead until next Year.

The flashback can just be 1115; we don't need a multiple-chapter FB saga.

While I'm not certain that there is going to be a flashback, the premise for it can still work, even if VP has only second- or third-hand knowledge. Oda can still show only a handful of events that VP more or less knows happened to JB, and, on top of that, Oda can be his Oda self by using VP's uncertainty regarding the events and/or people... wait for it... to keep everything in silhouettes!
