Current Events If Akainu Proceeds With A Coup

#1
So Akainu is fuming while eagerly waiting for Vegapunk's truth bomb. His anger can mean one thing, he's ready to make a decision regarding his loyalty to the World Government depending on what he hears

If in fact the Marines end up defecting, then you can expect Akainu's navy to go against literally everyone
Both the World Government under Gorosei rule and pirates alike will be considered outlaws according to Akainu's absolute justice
His ideal scenario for a just world would be for any corrupt authority or pirate filth to simply cease to exist, Vegapunk is simply giving him the incentive to act on it

Simply make holy land to become wasteland volcano which it kill celestial dragons and slaves (some people will recuse them). It become his homeland for akainu. Then other forces World government have choice to severse akainu or die by Akainu justice .

Basically Akainu become king of the world (Over three World government )and no one can oppose him without get island destroyed . Literally rule with fear . The. Akainu will order to kidnap law and torture him and force him to give him immortal life .

This reason why Kuzan call Akainu mad man and refuse to work with him. When Admirls rather work pirate who plan to take over the world than admiral . We got some discussion about this.

Probably Akainu create his propaganda to make luffy look bad .

Then Akainu would try take over the universe because space pirates exist. The reason why Akainu to take over the u iverse was to enforce his justice to aliens . Space marines Btw.

Akainu literally ordered every man, woman and child on Ohara to be murdered on the off chance that a Void Century scholar was there.

Now he’s exploding with rage at Vegapunk‘s speech revealing things from the Void Century.
Akainu believes in the greater good, and is ready to sacrifice a few to uphold the law
This situation is entirely different, why would he be in favor of a great cleansing
The way way TCB worded his phrase, Akainu does want Vegapunk to lay out everything he knows. Viz might give a clearer picture we'll have to wait for that

The situation is not entirely different. The situation is the exact “dilemma, for lack of a better word, Akainu faced in Ohara, where he without prompting dove headfirst into the genocide route.

He thought there was a chance- not a certainty, but a chance- that a scholar was on the refugee boats.

So he ordered the deaths of every man, woman and child on those boats to make sure no scholar escaped.

(And, guess what, there was no scholar on those boats, so he murdered an islands worth of civilians basically on an incorrect hunch).

Akainu is the easiest Marine in the world to convince that the ends justify the means. If he’s told using Uranus will wipe out piracy for good, end the centuries long war, but the cost will be several islands worth of people, that‘s a price Akainu would pay in a heartbeat.

The boat carried a small number of civilians
The great cleansing wipes out humanity on a worldwide scale, the two situations really have nothing to do with each other

Gorosei tricking Akainu is a viable option, I haven't taken it out of the equation. It would take quite the convincing to work though, you're acting like Akainu is a dumbfuck who can't comprehend such politics

This translation isn't accurate btw

I think the SHs will still have a clash with the Marines and when Akainu is defeated, he will order the remaining Marines to stand down/help the SH's alliance.

This does make sense but remember you're talking about Oda.

He's not suddenly going to make anyone any fraction not allied with Goofy important to the plot.

does he tho ? thats more of kuzan's justice

akainu's justice is to simply kill all evil , i dont think that he gives a shit abt innocent civilians

if people are useful to him then thats good but if they are useless then they should die

i know he supports the warlords cause some sacrifices are necessary but this is simply on a different scale

remember Z ?
sakazuki is like that , he will blow up the grandline as long as it means that all pirates die

i can see a coup coming but akainu's character can easily lead him to support the gorosei as long as evil dies
