I‘ve said it in the past ,at one way or the other Marines and WG will have infights among them.
Especially after Egghead imo.
Marines are the face of the WG ,to the generel public of the OP world.

If WG even lose their trust from the people in the slightest ,it hurts the reputation of the Marines as well.
Which i don‘t think Akainu likes to see.

Yea that was already given the amount of power rising up out of blue after wano.
I expect Elbaf to be the battle royal and then remenants beats WG.
Elbaf being Norse Related and follows the whole logic of Ragnarok.
- God of light death (Kizaru death or Defeat yet to be solved by the end of arc or sacrifices himself)
- Fimble Winter (Aokiji Freezing the WCI or maybe he awakens in Elbaf and Freezes everything)
- Ragnarok, Surtr kills everyone and destroy Asgaurd (Which is Akainu , He probably defeats one or two top tier in Elbaf and destroy the island). SHP , BB , CROSS GUILD AND OTHER escapes.

And most probably final Ponelglyph is there , everyone will crowd it suddenly like God's Valley. Island disappearing again because of Akainu.

Then WG vs Remenants...
Akainu vs Warcury probably thrn

Call me a fencesitter but for now I'm taking the pessimist vote that Oda won't be ballsy and have either extreme, but have some passionate Marines defect (Fuji, Akainu) and all the grunties ignorantly stay

If you guys are still confused whether Akainu and other admirals would defect or will be wrong on whether they will defect or not then it just shows that you guys doesn't really know your favorite characters.

they wont coup in the sense for directly fighting the world government, but they just wont care to serve/protect them anymore. Oda is setting up the gorosei and imu to be taken out soon, and the navy and akainu arent going to jump in front to defend them. They will let revs and luffy defeat the celestials, akainu vs luffy happens well after imu is taken out
