I can show you ample of panels where we can clearly see the lightning effect and peeps still refused to accept it as ACoC, like, when Kizaru blocked Luffy's kick. If that what it is, then you might as well start defending Luffy for failing overpower Kizaru's Hakiless guard with ACoC.


I can totally agree that CoC used here. But whether it's used in the form of coating or not is different story altogether. Using regular attacks along with a passive CoC blast results in black lightning too.

And Luffy's kick was thin lightning typical of CoA, Zoro's and Nusjuro's is thick lightning that we've seen from ACoC dozens of times.

Stronger ≠ Win

Being stronger doesn't automatically mean you win

Especially when the difference in strength isn't that wide and your opponent is seemingly invincible

If Luffy who beat Kaido can't do any permanent damage to the gorosei

It's not a matter of strength it's a matter of utilities and Ethan simply has more going for him
