It was introduced as a full-fledged concept after Luffy realized Kaido's been coating his attacks in CoC. Before then, it was vague and rare, Oda didn't have the leaking effect every time it's used until then. This is almost like looking for CoA coating before TS.
Right so Oden and Whitebeard's clash wouldn't disprove my point like the guy I was initially arguing with before you jumped in suggested.

Also look at how Venus used 1 hand vs Pinzoro
meanwhile Sanji stopped 2 handed Venus attack

Reminder that swordsmucks say that Shanks is weaker than Mihawk all because he lost 1 arm and can't use 2 arms on a sword, so they themselves admit that what Zoro stopped was only 50% of what Sanji stopped
:milaugh:
That’s true, Kenpachi taught us that 2-handed swings are exponentially stronger than 1-handed swings.
Sanji bros won

Haki is power, now you know the difference between Hakiletji and Zoro.
Next step learn the difference between a sneak and seeing your opponent coming. Maybe you'll stop embarrassing yourself when these characters don't even acknowledge Runji's existence. :kobeha:

From what I am getting, the point he was making is, Oden and WB did not use CoC coating despite the huge lightning effects. We know this because Oden did not have CoC coating back then, to which, he was introduced only after Roger vs. WB. So his point still stands IMO.
