JJK Chapter 265 Spoilers

#22
SUKUNA: I don't feel a thing.

SUKUNA: I understand everything you're saying, brat.

SUKUNA: And yet... I feel absolutely nothing.

SUKUNA: Just as you felt when you saw how quiet this town became.

SUKUNA: You had expected it.

SUKUNA: So...

SUKUNA: What?

Glad he's just a piece of trash through and through

Gege has turned Megumi into a Rachel type character from ToG.

I hate him more with every new chapter release.

Just kill Megumi first Yuji. I will be satisfied.

Sukuna's evil ass can stay alive until he turns himself itno fingers again.

The only problem with past few chapters i have is the yuta/gojo stuff lol fells unnecessary but gege probably wanted to give answer to "Are you the strongest...." line from geto, and yuta had great character moments which is why im also fine with those chapters

The Domain hasn't ended. Wonder how this interaction continues.
Could the Domain's effect be a "this is your ome chance for redemption or I kill you"? Basically Yuji offers you a way out (binding vow with him technically) or he uses his sure hit to end you, making the sure hit even more potent since he gives his oponent an option to live

Yeah, if it had been paced better this chapter would have landed so much better
Still really good
Don't know why people see this as talk no jutsu
Yuji knew him talking wouldn't work

The point is Yuji is pitying sukuna and giving him an ultimatum and that angers sukuna more than anything else

Sukuna sorta feels like he's caged again.

Also maybe headcanon but this feels like yuji talking to Megumi inside of sukuna giving him reasons to live.

Shouldn't Yuji be able to split Sukuna's and Megumi's souls since he has a sure-hit Cleave?

From reddit @thisisnotmelodrama

Okay so I think Yuji’s domain is heavily based on the devils sword dance or the onikenbai.

Based on the hard rules that domains are based on the interpretation of a cursed technique, i think what we’re seeing now is the first part of Yuji’s domain which represents one function of the dance being to give comfort to one’s ancestors. I think this manifests in giving Sukuna pity and offering the choice to spare him if he can for once in his life grasp humanity.

If Sukuna refuses, i think we get the second part of the domain which is an interpretation of malevolent shrine which specifically shreds the soul instead of the body, representing the sad aspect of the dance.

I think Sukuna is done for no matter what he chooses, but Yuji giving him the choice to save his soul and connect to humanity works as a binding vow that increases its strength, since Yuji is going against everything to pity Sukuna.

I think if Sukuna goes peacefully, he’ll be able to live within this aspect of Yuji’s domain and find peace.

I think it also works well with the stories heavy buddhist themes

tldr: sukuna is done either way, yuji is giving him the chance to save his soul

edit: the zoom in on the buddha statue was definitely a major sign
