Redon said on his forum that the chapter is very text-heavy, explaining in great detail how Shaka, Pythagoras, and Vegapunk discover York's betrayal and the measures they take. There are quite a few more details than what's told in the spoilers (normal, since it's a simplified summary of the chapter) and emotional parts of Vegapunk, as well as some very funny scenes with other characters.

When the full chapter comes out, you'll see that this chapter connects many things from Egghead's arc. It also gives clues about the "legacy" that Vegapunk may have left to the band.

And the fact that Luffy is going to surpass Shanks and achieve what even Joyboy couldn't means Luffys Haki, especially CoC, is going to be completely busted come EoS.

It makes sense because Blackbeard has the power to nullify DFs, so Haki will be Luffys saving grace in that fight.

The time to see what a CoC specialist is capable of if fast approaching, as we just got a glimpse of it, and it is insane. Not only was it a blast that was created 900 years ago, but it KOed Vice Admirals like it was nothing.

As I said, the focus changed. In both cases, Shanks is used as a reference, and in neither is he the best.

• In Skill, even though Shanks is used as a reference, Mihawk is better.
• In Haki, even though Shanks is used as a reference, the Haki shown was stronger.

More like Joyboy is dead, so if we're talking about living characters the giant's quote is indeed a huge indicator for Shanks.

To me, there's no difference at all. Shanks is used as a reference in both, the only thing that changes is the focus—one is on Haki and the other is on Skill.

Shanks is known for both his sword duels with Mihawk which Wb pointed out and for his Haki which WB's subordinates pointed out.

I pointed this out in my comment, the real issue is that Brannew used Shanks as a reference in terms of Skill to exalt Mihawk, so Shanks is also known for having great sword skills.

Because you said only weapon seen him use, big mom also only used a sword and she is worse then zoro at it, but she isn't weaker then him overall.

Watching one attack from someone and dictating he's a swordsman because he has no df is the same as saying king was a swordsman when he was introduced but that was debunked.
