The writing does feel a lot like the Netflix and Disney method of writing now that you mention it. A competition to see how badly writers can botch a story and then blame any failures on the critics and customers for pointing out that something odorous does in fact stink.

The writing for this arc was not good,...the only thing that keeps me reading this manga is Zoro, Mihawk, Perona, King,S-hawk and a few more...

Its boring as heck. On top of Egghead being a rotten egg, we had to endure one of the most boring cover stories ever instead of a cool one actually showing something interesting like wtf Sword, Cross Guild and Moria are doing. We still don't even know how the Seraphim attack on Buggy turned out. They just show him shouting stuff to his crew with Croc and Mihawk like nothing happened, but we get no word on whether or not S-Gecko and S-Flamingo ended up joining them or dying. No fights, no nothing.

I would even take a cover story focused around what Blackbeard does on his days off over Yamato's boring ass road trip in the worst country in One Piece.

That's all stuff that's going to come up in the main story. Cover stories have always been semi-boring inconsequential asides about characters from the last arc, like Jango going to a dance contest or Jinbei solving fish crimes, with a bit of lore at the end.
