It’s realistic and I appreciate that. What’s good in the moment can have terrible consequences we will never see come to fruition.

How is any of this confirmation that he was holding back? Sounds more like copium to me. Kind of like the story about Kizaru feeding Luffy.

Fighting somebody bloodlusted will be completely different compared to fighting someone having the mental anguish of having to kill his best friend lol. Kizaru was never even truly focused on the fight nor did he really make an effort to land hits on Luffy.

Even Saturn called him out, “this is sloppy work and unlike the usual you Kizaru”. Kizaru didn’t even want to be there, he completely shut down after killing his best friend. Blud was likely praying that Luffy is successful in stopping his efforts.

Oda’s holding him back as another antagonist for another day, that’s why he showed like 2 new moves in total lol.
