There's no real reason to Keep Kuma alive his story was told and he adds no other value to the story out side of being Bonneys dad sure he had a small spark of life left that let him rescue and see Bonney one last time but I think that spark ran out

As for vegapunk technically yes vegapunk is still alive Via Lilith and York but the main Stella body is in fact dead

I want to know if Saturn and York appear in this chapter, if they do Egghead is 100% over
If they don't, chances that the next chapter will at least have a few more pages dedicated to Egghead
I can understand letting Stussy or Lucce fate up in the air but Saturn and York are the like main antagonists of this arc and their panels didn't feel "last" enough

Great point. We've probably got at least 1-2 more, maybe 3 if Oda does have some twist left.

Straw Hats are done here, though. Seraphim could technically chase the ships, but, meh. Uranus could come into play regarding the Straw Hats.

This arc started with the Seraphim, and have been sidelined from it even longer than Kizaru. After the Seraphim had such a large focus in the first half, I expected them to do... something in the end.

Since this chapter is Akainu and Kizaru, the highest Marine authorities, talking, I assume next chapter we'll see Imu and the Gorosei, including Saturn who's still on the island, discuss the events and how to proceed. Going to be a giant messy cover up for the World Government.

Certainly the most disappointing.

My gut told me we weren't getting a serious design, but even what got was pretty bad

I'll never forget @Pot Goblin 's outright disgust at Vegapunk's design, it was hilarious. All these years, and it's Perospero tongue PTSD + crazy old man who is like "wow, this really evil thing I did was evil" all in one jobber.

All the transceiver did was allow them to acess and upload memories into punk records and keep track of each other. It was never once stated or hinted that it could be used to transfer personality even if it can be used that way Lilith no longer has access to the technology or materials she had on egghead that would allow her to create such a thing

Also how would showing it through Kuma be any easier than just showing a flashback also a flashback of what happened to the other buccaneers and seeing their skills, abilities and lore would be 1000% more interesting than just a bunch of Kuma exposition
