Laido is a boring and lackluster character and villain, who also has one of the worst backstories.
His fans only like him because of his strength, they get really salty when you say another character especially if it's an Admiral is a better character.(And part of them knows that it's true.)
Heck if you say another character is stronger, they get even more salty.
Even Big Mom who was a joke, was also a far more interesting character than Kaido.
