Problem with Mihawk and Sengoku is the character matchup feels incredibly random. Sengoku never antagonized Mihawk or any warlords (he actually respected them) and it would be kinda lame for Mihawks first fight in the series to not be against a swordsman imo.

Croc and Mihawk are going to show why they were the first two warlords in the verse

The 1YBW was mainly a battle between two warring factions that’s Shinigami and Quincy, while Oda has made it pretty clear through Vegapunk’s speech doublespread that the race towards OP has multiple stakeholders that can end up at the top if they found the treasure.

OP’s endgame shaping up to be a free-for-all makes it harder to guess who ends up being the final antagonist, Shanks, silhouetted guy, or totally new character are all in the draw thanks to that simple fact.

Sweating silhouette is the supreme ruler of the world but with many asterisks next to his name.

Yeah the theming of it was fine; but it felt so out of nowhere. Themes of the loss were good, comeuppance for wasting Quincy life for Uryuu and Ichigo having a sword that shatters fate.

But man the execution… 7DS level execution
