Luffy barely awoke his df and using it not at maximum/skilled like how Joyboy most likely used it.
And even then G5 was able to beat Kaido in first-time using awakening.

Let alone the fact that Joyboy haki is far stronger than current Luffy CoC.
Joyboy haki is even above Shanks(most likely) and has at top his godlike df.

Just look what Imu can do with his df at maximum power, he can share it most likely and powerup other members, as example Saturn.
Now let play the thought Imu can absorb all Gorosei power+haki power, to his own df power and haki.
That is a insane powerup and I doubt any Yonkou could come even close to that powerlvl.

As longtime shonen jump reader, I saw manytimes situations like this, where the final villian end up mutliple tiers above previous villians...

Yes, Vista and Jozu are top tier. Vista took no damage in Marineford, Jozu blocked Mihawk, and it took a Warlord (Doffy) + Admiral (Aokiji) to take down Jozu.

Whitebeard Pirates match up fine against Marines for the most part. Whitebeard against Akainu + others when free, Marco against Sengoku, Jozu against Kizaru, Vista against Aokji.

The Warlords are what made the battle unwinnable for the Whitebeard Pirates. Doflamingo and Mihawk alone (hell Boa was part of the problem) would have be enough, IMO.

Whitebeard Commanders are above other Commanders, Vista and Jozu proved this against Mihawk, and Marco proved it by 1v2ing Queen and King and damaging both during the fight.
