or just take a 1 year ban like myself. I self banned myself for over a year and this game almost almost made me reconsider going for another self ban for an extra year lol.
I self ban after every game.

I don't feel like I have to do after this game though. Because I told myself when I realized I was playing, it was just a game and I was playing to have fun. My last game a couple of months ago wasn't pleasant (even though I did enjoy playing) in part because I allowed my own frustration take over. :few:

Ratchet

The End and the Beginning
Ratchet, he entered his first ever game here saying stuff like "Too many times have I cost Town the game now". He also called me a detriment 8 pages in when I haven't even done anything yet that could be viewed as such. t's either perma or you start solving the actual problem. And Spoiler: It isn't me. I literally have people on MU tell me I am fun to play with. I was tame and much nicer in the past here, too. I'm clearly being spited by certain players and this won't stop even after 6 months. I'm not going to take this toxicity against me any longer.
Right, but that doesn't warrant the response you gave Flower. This is what I mean - it creates a negative feedback loop that blows up every game. If that is happening, I need you to be able to control your emotions enough to not let it completely take over the game, but that's what keeps happening. At its core, someone who thinks you're not a good player or whatever isn't all that disparaging. If you don't agree, and I would disagree too, then his opinion shouldn't matter. So that's why I'm saying - take some time away, we'll revisit this in a couple of months and if by then you feel better equipped to handle this then you can come back and play. If you are being spited, and it's bullying, then I'll be able to see that and those doing it will be out of here. For starters, instead of blowing up at them, you should be reporting them - let the process that is in place for this actually work, because as it is, this can't go on.

Hmmm......

While I do agree that Flower should take some time away from Mafia and I appreciate @Ratchet for actually following through after an issue like this (since in many cases, things like this get pushed under the rug), it should probably only be for the amount of time the punishment is actually worth. I, too, believe Flower has an unhealthy relationship with Mafia and should be taking a break of that length as well in all honesty. I frequently take 1-2 month breaks from the game myself when I feel like it is causing an unhealthy effect on my real life. I don't know if that can be forced upon her though. Perhaps instead of a full 6 month ban, it might be more beneficial to do a 3 month ban and have a "probation" period for the next 2 months. Say like she can sign up to 1 game per month and if she is causing any issues, she will not be on probation and just go back to being regular banned for the original time. If the 4th and 5th month go well, maybe let her sign up to an unlimited amount of games during Month #6 while still being on probation.

I feel like this will make it feel like less of a full-on punishment and will work as a compromise. Also it will help her work her way back into playing normally through smaller steps.

now as the host you have allowed flower to ruin the state of games if this was the first time sure i get it but you allow it every single game man.

thats not fair to the majority, you please one player and give her free reigns and "talk" to her after the fact, you shouldnt even have to talk to her about this over and over again she isnt a child shes a grown ass woman she knows better by now.
I try to keep everyone happy, trust me when I say that not just one player. Im sorry she made games annoying for you but do you think you could give her another chance? If she does it again after that then sure we can go ahead and ban her.
