If Mihawk's strength is irrelevant why happened we seen another top tier fight a YC without focusing them and still not take a single hit?

The VC was talking about the power they used during their battle. Vista is equal to a Mihawk whose fighting at a low level and not even focusing on him for most of the battle. Good for Vista.

In several other stories one way to show off a character strength is by having that character face other opponents in battle without receiving it a single hit without needing to focus on them. But you think that means they're equal.
