Blackbeard had a bounty of just 2.2476 billion berries when he was still a Yonko. 2.6 billion is amazing even for a Yonko.

Loki is hundred percent joining the crew, possibly becoming the strongest crewmate of Luffy.

I don’t actually view Blackbeard that highly right now, I’m a 3rd fruit believer.

It was simply Oda respecting the timeline, same Giant who said they weren’t there also stated that it'd be the end of the world if Loki were to free himself. Didn't seem to believe his "relative to Loki" captains would manage to stop him, lol.

Yeah but this could just be a case of “when Oden returned from his voyage he was many times stronger.”

The giant pirates under Dory and Broggy terrorized the world to the point that it said the marines and other pirates couldn’t stop them. It’s not crazy to speculate they got stronger.

Good thing Luffy showed himself to be unable to beat a broken will depressed admiral then lol
Yonko bounties are massively inflated (so is Akainu btw) and only good for agenda, only actual idiots use them to powerscale lol

Admirals are likely much stronger than Loki. I’m gonna need to see some feats before I even scale him over Law/Kid/etc.

Not sure. But until I see that 3rd fruit I just frankly don’t view Blackbeard on the level as characters like Kaido/Shanks. Kuzan more than likely could defeat him if he doesn’t have the third fruit.

Dory and Brogy’s bounties being so close to his with Oda emphasizing that Loki’s shenanigans occurred while they were away terrorizing the world does not bode well for Loki stocks.

I may need to make a thread on this. Sell those stocks now while they’re still high.

That's a Doylist explanation. A Watsonian explanation would be that Loki got his bounty 6 years ago and would be much higher today because of inflation.

I don't see Oda hyping the readers about a legendary devil fruit just to have Loki get folded as soon as he's able to use it. Most likely outcome is Luffy getting packed to show the power of the fruit if any.

It could also just be because he has a fruit for a mythical entity like Jormungandr, Garm, Fenrir, Surtur, etc that is associated with the end of the world.

I see him being like Saturn. Intimidating aura at first? Check. When he transforms/uses his ability for the first time will it be badass? Check.
