Didn't Luffy train his haki in Wano while wearing seastone handcuffs? Is somebody pranking me here?

Didn't Kaido also say that Haki transcends all? And seastone shouldn't do jackshit to haki since the only reason it works on df users is because the sea hates them. smh Oda's losing his consistency again. Haki might as well have been a devil fruit side-effect rather than a natural power.

And I fully agree. I'm just saying its stupid after Kaido gave that fancy speech about how Haki transcends all only for haki to now be nerfed by seastone so easily despite that haki isn't even a df-related thing.

The neck braces at the wano prison were at least bombs with seastone. But making seastone nerf haki is stupid since that means everyone should be weak to it since all livings things have haki. This is becoming a cheap kryptonite plot device.

You do get that haki still requires a decent amount of energy to use and constantly having energy sapped because of seastone would absolutely affect DF users.

If it only affected Armament then I'd get it - you can't strengthen your body because it is being weakened by the seastone
But not being able to use basic Observation or Conqueror's makes less sense when both are more spiritual than physical in nature

because it doesn't stop haki, it tires a devil fruit user to the point where they can't fully use it. literally no different from draining their stamina.

Seastone just nerfs haki, because DF users become too weak to physically use it. We know your physical state can affect haki, like how WB's heart condition kept him from effectively using observation or gave him a heart attack when he tried to use CoC
