Because Chapter 0 is also canon, people always wondered about Shikis whereabouts, and about his "20-year plan," which never came to fruition in the manga but was used as the transition for the non-canon movie plot instead. Oda still could make this work somehow. If it is him.

So technically, this "plan" could still happen. Even though it is a little bit past the 20-Year Mark now, but that's just a minor detail that can be overlooked, I guess.

On the silhouette being Copper Gaban, he got on well with Crocus and Laboon, where I can't imagine they would be old friends with Shiki...

But the weird thing is the few times we've saw Gaban, he had pirate-y clothes like Rayleigh, so why the switch to the Japanese style clothes? I believe he had black hair as well, but it could have gone white with age.

The only figure established we haven't really seen yet would be Wang Zhi/Ochoko, but like Shiki, I can't imagine he'd have a good relation with a ex-Rogers like Crocus.
