Cause before he got promoted to a gorosei we got a spread with the vital players and they were, presumably, shonks, and garling, before saturn was dead, if that matters to you this much
Also we got a teaser for them as a group and now one of the members face is concealed
They are far more important to the narrative than 200+ year old dudes that cant be connected in any meaningful way to the main cast of characters and supporting characters. Its not like rocket science
