Whole heartedly disagree. I do (a least a little) judge a work based on the merits of those recommending it. I dont respect this man & he was the only word of mouth Solo Leveling had going for it.

It is hype but I have read bl with better plot. Manga spoilers
The world reset plot came out of nowhere and the romance seem forced. But I loved Igris Berus and the american special S guy can’t remember his name

Yeah dude. Even Hitler used to eat and sleep. Will you stop doing that because of him? Such a ridiculous argument. Don't watch Solo Leveling. No fucking cares. If you wanted a simple yes or no then you wouldn't have gave us your ridiculous and boring story (worst than Wano arc). This is not gossip girl no one cares about your life.

So I was thinkin what could the next season of Solo Leveling bring to us...

I don't think we will already enter the Ant Arc. That is climax and maybe deserves a good whole season for just of it plus the cliff hanger of the next arc. I think next arc we will be seeing much more grinding of protagonist. All those dungeons where he leveled up, some of them he had a hard time with. There will be morals issues during those dungeons as well. And he will be going for higher dungeons (rank B and A). There should also be some imminent tension of that S class guy who wants to revenge his relative (brother?) but we know it doesn't happen now...

Overall I can expect next season to be good but still not climax. Only Season 3 Solo Levelling will get the notority it deserves. And from there and on it will be spectacular after spectacular.

Honestly, I'd skip a lot of the useless low-ranked dungeon grinding, so maybe there would be a room for the ant arc.

You mean the anime skip it or if you were the protagonist?

I think ant arc is better safe for S3 so you don't have to rush it till there. But giving all they showed in S1 about that maybe that's their goal.

Side quest you mean the demon castle? To me that would be the climax and super fun.

In my first read I really liked it but towards the end it became mid for me. The MC just leaves everybody else in the dust and no other characters really matter by the end. Overgeared which is similar tho not as popular is arguably far better in this regard.

The whole idea is to be overfocused on the protagonist. So your critic is kind of odd. I can understand you don't like this theme/genre (idk) but it do what it is suppose to do.

And I'd say that around mid series no one can match protagonist anymore unless the final villains.
