Oh no, I am trembling in fear.

First of all, you're getting worked up over absolutely nothing.
From my PoV a shared lynchpin makes no logical sense, because first of all no one character can belong to both magic and science; so there is no obvious indication as to such a lynchpin existing.

Furthermore, it does also not make any sense for a singular flip to determine the fate of two entire separate town factions - ending the game in an instant.
I have no reason to believe that Ratchet went through all the trouble to make all these mechanics and roles just for a possibility that the entire game is over D1 because we chose the wrong target.

It is nonsensical.

IF, and I mean IF, such a pin does in fact exist, there is bound to be more conditions to be met for a literal game ending event to take place.
There is absolutely no logical sense in a game ending threat to be imminent before the game has even fucking started.

Your hysteria is so unneccesary, you just want me to nod and smile and take everything you say at face value, sorry it's not gonna happen. If something is unclear, doesn't make sense or I disagree with - I will in fact act accordingly, whether you like it or not.

I could not care less if you want to scum read me for it.
How i read it is that Killa knows it's a thing, not just thinks so. Idk if Ratchet would put role who's basically lovers with half of the Town in the game but i'm not gonna argue about it. That being said, we can't just lynch noone. I mean we can but that's just waiting to lose.

Unvote

you sure scum don't have fake claims?
100% but he claimed mc and potential target. No way they'll all be main characters and it's not worth it to risk it D1. Like, remember Avatar game?

ngl, that makes more sense

Like, imagine this being D1 lynch
My point exactly, there is no way Ratchet would go through all the trouble of making all these intricate game mechanics and roles if the entire game could end before it even began.

Like I am sorry if I came off as dismissive @Ghostface Killa but I reallly was trying to actually go through the information we have available to us in the public domain- and I was pretty much correct with my analysis.

So really in hindsight we have been arguing about.. nothing at all.

which is why I shared this and said this how I feel:

Certain characters are lynchpins for both town factions. None of us are told how many or who. So, if one of those people get lynched, that entire alignment loses. You need to watch what the fuck you are lynching or pushing for a lynch and Mango this makes you look fucking bad despite me telling you this you are pushing a lynch and I do not like it.
Counterpoint - this is, practically speaking, the same as in normal games. It may not be instant elimination, but if town loses all of its PRs, its a near-certain loss for them as well. As long as we treat flavour claims with the same level of severity, scum won't know what our roles are, and they'll be just as in the dark as the rest of us.

I apologize for being a dick.

It is probably unneccesary of me to say, but truthfully it is just to vent out my last lingering frustration;

I'm not saying I am innocent myself, there's obviously fault in me as well - but from the very begining you weren't really trying to understand my angle for challenging your claim.

While yes, I understand you were operating on your impression of what the host had told you, were not willing to try to understand my problem with your claim - pretty much completely refusing to consider a possibility that you may have misinterpreted something.

You can't just expect people (me in this case) to take everything at face value.
We are human, we make mistakes, we fuck up sometimes.

Because as you see now, we had a pretty big and relatively heated back and forth which has now been rendered completely pointless.
And it could all have been avoided if we actually tried to listen to one another.
