since movie did change things, and we have not gotten to shadow connection to black doom.

Pacing wise it was fine, I just didn’t like that every scene felt isolated rather than building to the climax. In other words, you can tell that they shot them out of order because they kinda move from one scene to the next and forget what the previous one established.

ah, well it movie adaption so was fine.
but understand what you mean, like the scene when shadow and sonic go super and live and learn play, then the scene cuts off to eggman lmao. instead of staying in the current scene.
yeah some scenes didn't flow but it was still good.
i actually liked the adaption of shadow as it showed more backstory to shadow and maria sibling/friendship together. where the game we only get mentions of her name and quick flashback of her saving shadow before she you know... even though movie shadow still had his memories he was still being manipulated by gerald for revenge against world similar to when he had amnesia in the games and his mind was alter by gerald for revenge. ( also rip gerald they made him silly in movie where game he was seen as crazy/dangerous after maria death before he got executed in prison but still funny lol) i heard reason why gerald alive because he had shadow quill which preserved him from aging in the cut content.
there was suppose to be time travel near end, but they cut it out and prob saving it for movie 4.
