Hmm maybe that's why Shanks made a side trip to Elbaf then. He knew Luffy will come and he decided to reveal his location to Loki (with a vivre card ?) for him to tell him where to go after him after coming in Elbaf
But that's without knowing at the time that Blackbeard would already end him

So far it doesn't look like Loki is villain
There could be short clash but I don't see any actual fight here
Can we talk about how nonsensical the SHs' pathing has been in Elbaf so far?
While running away from Rodo, Luffy casually stumbles into Loki. They chat, before Luffy decides to leave. They reunite with Saul, and now Luffy decides to return to Loki, just in time for the HK to have made their move.
