Kaidou could block Snakeman without using FS... Could Katakuri do the same?

Except he did actually try winning over plenty of samurai to his cause. For some samurai, they were allowed to live in his prison for decades with the hope that he would break their will. For some reason he didn't do this with Oden though. But anyway, Oden was naive enough to fall for the dancing thing, so why did he never try getting him to spill the beans on Laughtale?

Katakuri is the base line for future sight ,
kaido , shanks and any other fs user would surpass him in this field cause of their experience and higher potential
His future sight is almost always activated, whereas Kaido only uses it when necessary
