Notice how Kuri wasn't used as a hype tool during WCI cover story?
That's the main difference between Katakuri and King

Let’s imagine a scenario where Greenbull and Izo pull up on King similar to how Kuzan and Auger did against Cracker
Now I know Greenbull can neg him alone but Izo is important for the full picture

Izo humiliates King by disarming him with a single bullet at first

And then Ryokugyu takes care of business

Noticed any difference? I didn’t. At least the Van Auger vs Cracker part is still non canon unlike ehat happened fertilizer King

The only one that might require some sort of growth or a powerup is Akainu.

Given that Akainu in his prime needed 10 days in an isolated fight to pull an extreme diff/almost draw against Kuzan, I am not so sure anymore.
I don't think the Papazuki train is state of the art at this point.
Especially not after him being a pencil pusher for 2 years by now.

Sakazuki ~ Kuzan ~ Borsalino was true after all. Magma man is just more pragmatic.
