So where does the D clan fit in all of this?

Are they direct descendants from Joyboy or the humans that fought with him?

Reminder that an Arabasta human was on Joyboy’s side and is potentially a ancestor/relative of Nefertari D. Lili. Strongly suggesting that D clan, the secret name, are descendants of Joyboy’s allies whose wills are carried on, as told in Raftel

Then there’s the apology written to Joyboy. Someone on Joyboy’s side must have betrayed him. A human most likely

This human is the “Judas” to Joyboy’s Jesus. That human is also the ancestor of Blackbeard, who carries the D name but is not the one “Roger was waiting for”

Blackbeard is the Yami Bakura of One Piece. He is the one who intends to rise above all gods of the verse

You didnt read it right brother, its say on earth there is ''Flame'' that doesnt mean that the entire world was covered in flame. Im assuming flame here means some source of power, it makes sense because then the next line is that humans overtaken by desire touched upon the forbidden sun ( The flame the first line talks about). The Sun god appeared is the next line which is in answer to the prayers of the enslaved humans. Now pray tell what was enslaving the world? The next line explains it, The Sun God appeared to answer their prayers and the earth god ( Imu) was enraged and thats what triggered the first war.

Basically the war started then but since Nika keeps reincarnating and has a will of its own even if it failed twice to defeat the Earth God (Imu) its basically prophecized that in the third war the world will be free.

The earth god was enslaving the world and still is, the WG is just the modern version of it. Imu is ultimate oppression and Nika is ultimate freedom.

The Sea deity fought on the side of Nika in the description against the earth god.

@Kurozumi Wiwi @Sentinel ,etc
Alright reading more closely now I will amend what I said:

The first war: the Sun God fought a war with the Earth God, the Earth God unleashed the hell flame which killed everyone. At some point the earth becomes flooded?

The second war: The Sun God wants to fight the Earth God again? There is a Forest God and a Sea God (Imu?) also? Anyway the twenty kings all gang up on Nika and kill him because they don’t want to unleash the Earth God, they just want it to stay buried.

War 3: This is when the Sun God will actually kill the Earth God.

So the Earth God is the final OP villain, whatever the hell that is. The WG exists to prevent the Earth God from waking up and keep it buried under the ocean (remember the true OP world is flooded).

So basically the Earth God is the final villain of One Piece. Imu is a subverted final villain, the Earth God is far worse.
