Absolute Lore Piece

Oda still playing with the idea that Shanks was the one who spoke to the Gorosei. Hard to tell with translations, but I think Shamrock’s words seem to imply it was longer ago

Cereberus sword is very weird. Not quite like the usual DF eating weapons, something else may be up there.

And it is Gaban after all. Sigh. Doubt he’ll do anything at all interesting other than give Shanksposition and be another “oh look, Luffy is just like Captain Roger, guess we were waiting for him.” Which I don’t care about. Colon and the giant kids seemingly being about to be kidnapped might be a bit more interesting, but I don’t think he’ll resolve that situation either.

Still think Yorki is alive though

For the main event though, the Harley texts.

First of all, liking that you can still see the traces of the Robin-as-a-botanist concept art. I think I’m the only one who cares about this, but that’s another tree containing important void century info.

Now for Harley, two things to study, the poem and the pictures

First World:

The forbidden sun- two possibilities for me. Prosaic is the energy source that Vegapunk dreams about discovering. Alternatively, a metaphor for humanity discovering how to use either Haki or DFs for the first time. Likely the prosaic answer

Nika emerges, and this enrages the Earth God. Earth God and Serpent of Hell destroy the world for the first time. Not a flooding though, more of a traditional hellfire and darkness cataclysm. Who are the Earth God and Serpent though? Is the serpent a dragon? A sea beast? Fairy Vearth for the Earth?

Second World:

Breath among the emptiness- life recovers after the first world is destroyed?

God of the Forest sending forth demons- calls to mind Imu in the flower garden sending out the Gorosei, and even Shamrock with his demon sword.

Joy Boy interestingly again not being portrayed as an all round great guy, and instead a bit of a warmonger.

People of the moon and half moon dreaming. D’s the Half Moon? Lunarians and the three tribes of white winged folk? The tribes of Wano with their moon based names? There’s lots of moon stuff in the series.

Killing the sun and ascending seems a clear ref to the Celestial Dragons rising after the defeat of Joy Boy. Although could be a ref to god DFs.

God of the Sea enraged- Poseidon floods the world after Joy Boy’s death

Third World:

Void and chaos- Imu and Blackbeard? Imu is almost certainly the void, since that’s what Mu means. Blackbeard brings chaos, although so does Luffy.

Voice of the fragmented moon- Kozuki (moon) splitting up their voices (Poneglyphs) over the world with the help of Lili, helping people to remember the promised day, hidden in the shadows of the world away from their enemies?

End stuff is generic Luffy saving the world

And in general- “will never meet again, will met again” line at the end. Presumably the “promised sovereigns” of Luffy, Shirahoshi and maybe Momo fitting in somewhere? Not sure what else this could refer to.

As for the mural:

First thing that stands out, the three enemies. Left, right, middle, one for each world?

Demon King: holding the sun, fighting Nika, Joy Boy, or a prophecy of fighting Luffy in the future? It’s below the Third World Poem. Is it just by Blackbeard bias, or could it be his final form? Holding the sun, interestingly enough- mother flame? Has a ship of fighters supporting it, the Blackbeard Pirates?

Dragon: Presumably, a demon send forth from the God of Forest, given it’s position above a tree (Yggdrasil, or another tree on Laugh Tale?) Probably the reason why Celestial Dragons are obsessed with Dragons. Could be Imu, although noticeably Imu also seems to be below in human form, so would be appearing at least twice, maybe three times if the demon king

Serpent: Is it fighting the dragon, or combining attacks with it? Rising from the mechanical cities of the past. Is it a metaphor for Pluton, who some theorise is shaped like a dragon?

Is that the moon or Uranus?

Enel seem to have found the schematics of the Maxim from someone else, and another Goro Goro user given it is using lightning- on Imu.

Imu, being granted power by nineteen kings? Curiously, quite close to Noah. where you can see the animals come in two by two hurrah, hurrah. A skypiean seems to be involved here (not a lunarian, white wings and no fire)

Is that Zunisha that Imu is standing on? Zunisha and the ancient weapons are curiosly not a major focus of this mural, they could all be there, but could easily be absent. Also seems to be a

Less interesting on the other side. Can clearly see all the main allies. Although look just above the whale- probably just rain, but maybe a metaphor for Uranus attacks raining down from the heavens.

No three eyes immediatley noticeable, but they would be hard to see in this. Same for Buccaneers.

Good thing I am working from home, cause I’m doing fuck all work for the rest of the day with this one.

could be anyone almost exist in everyone
The murals look like mayan/cave man drawings tho, because they are child drawings, similiar to the enel mural
That's what I was thinking too. There's too many to just point at a single.
From what knowledge I have, this entire Mural has some events that are a mix between Norse and Greek mythos. Some aspects of Christianity and Aztec too maybe, I don't have enough knowledge on those

Oda just can't stop himself from making giants look pathetic, despite expectations and hopes that Loki would be different. That Gunko's beating was barely Dressrosa-level. And overall he looks like he has no resistances. But apparently this is according to plan to create some Norse mythology parallels of Odin's sacrifice, or something of this sort. And maybe Loki's fruit is the Kaido Kaido no Mi that makes him not completely suck (although there would have been a possibility to create a natural genetic similarity).
