It seems like the Ennies lobby portrayal of their power difference never changed. Luffy IS stronger but not by the degree that the fandom thought. Zoro or Sanji in their prime would give Luffy a tough fight. I actually thought this would be the case but sharing such an opinion wouldn't have been popular at all, for good reason, since Luffy looks exponentially stronger but again, Narrative/Portrayal>Feats.
