Madara becoming a perfect jinchuuriki was always a mistake. Sage Mode Dual Rinnegan Madz would be a perfect opponent for BSM Naruto and CM EMS Sasuke.

I think it wasn't bad that Madara was having Juubi's power as a jinchuriki but the moment when he was supposed to show his power, he got... his ass beaten by 8 gates Gai (8 gates Gai is super cool but at this point of the story, I didn't like the idea of him whooping a freaking god's ass when a weaker version easily dealt with the alliance, the bijuus, Naruto and Sasuke, and the hokages) and both Naruto and Sasuke jumped him. From what Naruto and Sasuke showed at the end in their final battle, it was clear that they weren't remotely showing everything against Madara.

As for that, I also dislike the narrative of "MC receives PU, then obliterates the antagonist." I never liked that kind of stuff unless it's absolutely necessary, for example with very huge drawbacks (like Gon in HxH).
