i mean yeah. Oda specified in Marineford Luffys greatest strength is having others fight for him.

Zoro isn't interfering in his captain fights without reason, look at previous instances.

Gear 5 suffers no nerfs. Luffy didn’t even know what condition he was in till after it was done.

Kaido was nerfed, only reason Luffy barely won.

Kaido was not nerf he just do a stupid thing and try go into power match up with luffy and no one wins those .
He would still be kicking his ass other wise.
